Well as I mentioned in past reviews, I'm not a fan of hardcore, metal or rap-core. I suppose this release would fit somewhere in the hardcore/metal category. This is pretty typical stuff for the genre, at least from my limited knowledge of this style. It's got that death metal drumming featuring fast double bass, and heavy and often fast guitars. In general the vocals pretty much just go from screams to growls, and the only time I could really understand what they were saying was when they would talk during the song, you know like these types of bands often do, or at times when they did sing. When they really sang it actually sounded cool. Not to worry though, the CD does come with a lyric sheet, so that's a plus, almost a necessity if they want people to understand what they are flipping out about. Most of the time they are flipping out about God. I must say most hardcore/metal heads will probably dig this band, and I can see them doing really well. Some of the music was not too bad, but the vocals just entirely ruined the listenability for me.
